In May, we kicked off our latest research project, “Fragmentomics by Liqomics”, supported with approx. €370,000 in funding from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
With this project, we aim to push the boundaries of liquid biopsy diagnostics. By analyzing fragmentation patterns of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and applying AI-driven models, we’re working to significantly improve the sensitivity of minimal residual disease (MRD) detection — especially in lymphomas. The technology also holds great potential for application in other cancer types.

🚀 Wir sind gestartet: „Fragmentomics by Liqomics“
Im Mai haben wir unser neues Forschungsprojekt „Fragmentomics by Liqomics“ gestartet – mit rund 370.000 € gefördert durch das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Flüssigbiopsie-Diagnostik auf ein neues Level zu heben. Durch die Analyse von Fragmentierungsmustern zirkulierender Tumor-DNA (ctDNA) und den Einsatz KI-gestützter Modelle wollen wir die Sensitivität beim Nachweis minimaler Resterkrankungen (MRD) – insbesondere bei Lymphomen – deutlich verbessern. Auch für andere Tumorarten sehen wir großes Potenzial.
